Friends...

Today my friend Heather and her little girl Keegan came to visit. We haven't seen them all summer, so it was very nice to catch up and spend some time with them. Here a couple of pictures I got.

Jalyn was really sad to see her go. She cried for a good 5 minutes after they left. We had a good time and look forward to the next time!

Little feet...

This weekend we had our friends, Lisa and John over and Jalyn loved Lisa's shoes. She's played with our shoes before, but I don't think she's ever tried walking in them. I love this.

Lazy Weekend...

This weekend was nice because we did absolutely nothing! It was very relaxing and nice to just stay at home. We watched some movies and Jalyn got a lot of playtime with her daddy.

Box Fun...

Last night Jalyn was playing around with this empty Huggies box and it was sooo cute!! It's like twice the size of her and she was carrying it around and then Jerry put her in it and she loved that. She kept wanting to crawl in and out of it.And then last night when she started to wind down, we were laying on some couch cushions on the floor and she layed her head right on mine just rested it there. Jerry got a picture before she was done with that.

Josie's Photo Shoot...

Yesterday Josie was rolling around from her back to her stomach and I wasn't sure if Leslie had ever seen her do that, so I took some pictures for her and it ended up turning into a photo shoot. Look at her bright blue eyes!

Our Friends...

Last night our friends John and Lisa, from Saline, had us over for dinner. Jalyn really enjoys going there and playing with all the cat's toys. She had a fun time teasing us all with them. She'd try and hand us a toy and then when we went to grab it, she'd quickly take it back before we could touch it. She was being pretty silly.





She had a fun time playing with Lisa too.

Lisa made us a wonderful homemade meal. There was fried butttermilk chicken tenders, baked potatoes with the works, broccoli sauteed in olive oil and salt and for dessert she made this wonderful homemade brownie dish that we ate with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. Mmm mmm good!!! After dinner we hung out for awhile and talked and watched Jalyn dance. Then we got to see a doe and her fawn right outside their window in the backyard. It was very cool. After that we watched the movie "Disturbia". Very very good movie. Lisa had a few panic attacks while watching it, but in the end she was okay. I couldn't help but laugh at her because of how scared she was. She only screamed once but I count the number of times she jumped out of her seat! You're too funny Lisa! Thanks for a wonderful time! We always look forward to spending time with you guys.
